A Texas A&M student died in a crash early Wednesday in what police said is another case of texting-and-driving accident.

Chandler Small, 19, of Montgomery County, was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident on Highway 30 at the Walker-Grimes county line.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 3:15 a.m. when she was speeding and texting on the highway and lost control of her truck causing it to flip.

Authorities said Small, a graduate of Montgomery High School, was heading back to College Station after visiting friends at Sam Houston State in Huntsville when the wreck occurred.
