Police have found a missing man involved in a car wreck that happened about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Beaumont police, a car overturned and crashed into a fence on Frint Road behind Ford Park.

Police found a small trace of blood when they arrived, but was not able to find the driver at the scene.

The driver and missing person was identified by Police as 21-year-old Taylor Fannin.

Extensive search was conducted and officers also checked local hospitals as no one had heard from him since the time of the accident.

Fannin was found later at around 1 p.m. when he called his father from the Sonic drive-in on Walden Road and told him he’d gotten tired after trying to walk home and fell asleep in the woods.

According to a police officer, Fannin is now in good condition.
