A Perryton woman was hurt following a rollover accident Wednesday in Grant County, OK.

Tara Lyn Carter, 44, was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder when the crash happened in Oklahoma 132 four miles south of Manchester at about 10 p.m.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Carter was heading north when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

The vehicle left the road to the left, causing it to roll over twice and coming to rest on its wheels.

Carter had to be extracted from the vehicle by members of Manchester Fire Department after being pinned for 20 minutes. She was reportedly wearing a seat belt.

Carter suffered head and trunk injuries but is in stable condition at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
