A 21-year-old woman was killed in a crash on New Year’s Day in Arlington.
At about 3 a.m. Tuesday, Sara Habala of Arlington lost control of her vehicle and struck a pole on the side of the road at the intersection of Park Springs Boulevard and Shady Valley Drive.
Habala was pronounced dead on the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Authorities said alcohol and speed may be factors to the wreck.
