A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on West Port Arthur Road claimed the life of a Borger man.

Ronald Dwayne Thomas, 63, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet truck heading north on West Port Arthur Road when his vehicle rear-ended a 2007 Mack truck, which was attempting to make a left turn.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Thomas died at 7:56 a.m. at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.

The driver of the Mack truck, a Beaumont man, was uninjured in the collision.
