A 30-year-old man died and another person injured in a two-vehicle accident on US 83 just 15 miles south of Canadian, Texas Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. when a 2007 International truck towing a trailer swerved to the right to avoid an oncoming 1993 Nissan which crossed the median. The Nissan struck the front left of the truck-trailer causing it to go off the road to the right.
