A drunken woman was killed Saturday after jumping out of a moving pickup truck in Southeast Dallas.

According to police, a 27-year-old woman had left a nightclub, intoxicated, and was riding as a passenger of a truck at around 2:50 a.m. She then got into an argument with the driver, opened the door and leaped out of the vehicle. She landed on her side on C.F. Hawn Freeway near the exit for South 2nd Avenue.

The victim, who was identified by police as Garland resident Nancy Rodriquez, was taken to Baylor Hospital Downtown. She was later pronounced dead.

Any foul play is not suspected in the case, police said.
