A rollover crash early Wednesday morning in Grand Prairie left one teenager dead and injured two other men.

The crash occurred at about 2:45 a.m. when a Jeep Cherokee heading north on Highway 360 went out of control between New York Avenue and Camp Wisdom Road and flipped several times, ejecting its two passengers.

One of the passengers, Lokuekim “Jessy” Kipasa, 18, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The other, Donte Pierce, 21, was flown by helicopter to the hospital with serious injuries.

Ashlee Straker, 21, who was driving the vehicle, literally walked away from the accident. He was found later at his home, disoriented and injured. He also was transported to the hospital.

Authorities said alcohol may have been a factor and are now awaiting toxicology test results.

Straker could face charges of failing to stop and render aid. Investigators say he had a cell phone with him, yet he never used it.
