A man is accused of crashing into a railroad crossing arm on Rock Prairie near Wellborn Road and then fled the scene.

Logan Davis, 23, of College Station, was drunk when he and his full-sized pickup were found by police about one mile to the west at Rock Prairie and Ridgecrest.

The front bumper was left behind at the crash site.

Officers said Davis had an alcohol level of .225, which is nearly three times the legal limit.

The cost to replace the crossing arm is $20,000 dollars said the Union Pacific Railroad.

Davis is also accused of causing $500 damage to a fence along Old Wellborn Road.
