A man was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle crash in Killeen early Saturday morning.
Killeen police said the accident happened at 12:59 a.m. at the 1900 block of W. Stan Schlueter Loop when a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse left the north side of the road.
The car crashed into a concrete drainage culvert, hitting the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The driver, identified as 29 year-old Leonel Feliciano Fernandez, was partially ejected from the Eclipse and was killed instantly in the wreck.
A passenger was found near the vehicle and was transported by ambulance to Scott & White Memorial Hospital and was later released.
The crash is still being investigated.
