A collision involving a motorcycle and a truck injured a man and killed a woman Monday night in Robinson.

56-year-old Jeanne Trowbridge and 52-year-old Neal Trowbridge, both from Robinson, were on a motorcycle stopped at a red light on at Peplow Drive and Robinson Drive around 9:30 when a red pickup truck failed to stop. The truck, driven by 51-year-old Christopher Carter, hit the motorcycle from behind.

According to Robinson Police Chief Rusty Smith, the victims were taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center where Ms. Trowbridge died shortly after midnight. Neal Trowbridge underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition late Tuesday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation, Smith said.
