A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed after hitting two vehicles on Interstate 35 Sunday afternoon.

New Braunfels police have identified the victim as James Curtis of Cleburne.

Curtis was travelling north on FM 306 at about 1:00 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle. He swerved right and hit a car stopped on the shoulder. His bike then crashed into another vehicle parked on the shoulder and came to rest on the highway.

Curtis was taken to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, where he was pronounced dead.
