A man is facing intoxication manslaughter charges after crashing into a pole, killing his passenger early Saturday.

The fatal wreck occurred at around 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Great Southwest Parkway.

Ismael Vasquez-Peralta, 60, of Arlington, was driving a Ford truck when he lost control and struck a pole. Vasquez-Peralta and his passenger were rushed to the Medical Center of Arlington, where his passenger was pronounced dead.
