A 20-year-old Tuscola man is dead after a two-auto crash north of Bradshaw Monday night.

The incident occurred at about 8:40 p.m. on Highway 83 near milepost 348 and the intersection of County Road 205.

Jason Earl Winegeart was travelling north when he glided onto the southbound lane and collided with another vehicle head-on.

Winegeart was taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene where he was pronounced dead at 9:47 p.m. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The two passengers in the vehicle that Winegeart’s car struck were taken to Hendrick Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. They were identified as Angela Marie Anderson, 40, from Winters, and Randy Jacob Burnsed, 21, from Ovlo. Anderson has a broken ankle while Burnsed has minor abrasions. Both are in stable condition.

They were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The crash is still being investigated by the Department of Public Safety.
