Sunday night’s two-vehicle collision in southeast Austin left one person dead and four children injured.

At about 8 p.m., a Chevrolet Suburban and 18-wheeler collided on Hwy 183 southbound near the Hwy 290 intersection.

According to Austin police, the Suburban was stuck in a pole, pinning its occupants inside.

The right front passenger in the Suburban, Belinda Cisneros, 28, was pronounced dead on the scene.  Four children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into what lead to the accident continues.
